Brady Green Laus

Hinn snarbilaði 37 ára gamli Brady Green var sleppt lausum úr fangelsi í  New York City siðasliðinn sunnudag  en í fangelsið fór hann vegna þess að hann er ítrekað búin að leggja Tyru greyið í einelti, öskrað á hana á tískusýningum hringt í hana , sent henni bréf , elt hana mætt á tökur af þættinum hennar og ítrekað reynt að fá hana til að vera sín kona. Þið sjáið hérna að neðan fyrir hvað hann var dæmdur.

Brady var dæmdur á bandaríska vísu fyrir

one count of criminal trespass in the third degree.

Kannski ekki nema von að Tyra Banks sé ekki sama að þessi sé komin aftur útí samfélagið. Hvað næst?.

“Who Killed Obama?” T-Shirt Designer is Just Misunderstood Fashion designer Doron Braunshtein, aka Apollo Braun, whose store on Orchard Street has been selling T-shirts and hoodies emblazoned with the question ‘Who Killed Obama?’, says the people leaving him angry messages and death threats just don’t get hipster irony. See, he loves Obama, that’s why he’s selling products that invoke his murder! “I’m very punk rock,” Braunshtein explains to the NY Press’s fashion blogger, smugly aware that our primitive 2008 technology prevents you from reaching through your computer screen and slapping that smirk off his face. He goes on: "They don't understand what I'm doing. They think I'm spreading hate. Could you imagine if Obama were killed? They might blame me. Then I'd be taken to jail and have to have prison sex." Of course, should that tragic fate befall Obama, Braunshtein would make a fortune off his T-shirts, which would suddenly become as prescient as they are insipid. As it stands now, he charges between $129 - $250 for the items, which are custom made with safety pins. Oh, and sequins! Buy now, before Obama’s soooo over.

Ný Gallup könnun segir Hillary vera að vinna !!!!

According to a new Gallup poll, Hillary Clinton has passed ahead of Barack Obama by an impressive 7 points — 49 to 42 percent.

This is the widest gap we've seen in polls between the two Dem presidential nominee wannabees in weeks.

The poll was conducted before Barack's acclaimed race relations speech on Monday.

But, according to Gallup's Jeff Jones, "the initial indications are that the speech has not halted Clinton's gaining momentum as she led by a similar margin in Tuesday night's polling as compared to Monday night's polling."

On another note, looks like John McCain is benefitting from the loooooong and tense Democratic nomination process. Grrrrrrr.

A new Gallup poll also showed McCain leading both Democrats. McCain holds a 4 point lead over Obama and 3 point lead over Clinton.

Það byrjar vel eða þannig

Governor David Paterson hoped his and his wife's admission that they had extramarital affairs meant that everyone could move on. Other politicians certainly want to move on and constituents generally don't think it's a big deal (Hookergate fatigue?), but now that the tabloids have license to run with it, it means details (and long cover headlines) galore!

2008_03_paterswife.jpgOne of the women Paterson had an affair with worked for under Governor Spitzer, when Spitzer was an Attorney General. Lila Kirton continued to work Spitzer when he became governor and is now community affairs director for the Office of Intergovernmental Affairs, a $150,000/year job. She is the woman Paterson romanced at the Days Inn on the Upper West Side.

The Post speaks with Olympic gold medalist Diane Dixon, who got a job with the city's education department, thanks to Paterson, and told the Post she had tapes of Paterson's voice mails from this year, including one from this week. Except it doesn't seem (maybe?) that they had any sort of affair; when asked about her intimation she was close to Paterson, Dixon said, "Don't you go there. Don't go there. He and I were just friends. It's all a joke. Just a joke."

Other odds and ends: The NY Times has an editorial, begging that politicians get to work. The Daily News' Juan Gonzalez, whose interview with Paterson and and wife Michelle essentially broke the affair story publicly, admires Paterson's frankness, but the Observer's Choire Sicha wonders why the Patersons met with Gonzalez and then gave the press conference. Newsday looks at the culture of infidelity Albany nurtures. And the News' Amy DiLuna appreciates Paterson's honesty, but hates the revenge sex aspect of his confession.
