Elijah Wood and Robin Williams are in negotiations to reprise their roles in the upcoming Happy Feet sequel.

Director George Miller is returning to the follow-up to the Oscar-winning animated film, slated to start shooting in Australia early next year, ABC News reports. Producers are hoping to convince Wood to return as the voice of dancing penguin Mumble, while Williams is expected to return as South American penguin Ramon and baritone Lovelace.

The first Happy Feet film grossed more than $380m at the international box office and scored the Oscar for Best Animated Feature in 2007.
