Chris Brown was sentenced to five years probation and ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from his ex-girlfriend Rihanna for the next five years during a sentencing hearing in Los Angeles Tuesday.

The sentencing was bumped up to at the request of Brown’s legal counsel.

In June, the singer reached a plea deal with prosecutors to avoid jail time stemming from his attack on the “Umbrella” singer last February.

According to The Associated Press, Los Angeles County Superior Court judge Patricia Schnegg ordered the crooner to report for probation within 72 hours. He will perform his community service in Virginia, where he has permanent residence. Chris must also complete a 52-week domestic violence program – sponsored by the Commonwealth Catholic Charities – and perform 180 days of community labor, for which he will pickup trash, wash cars, and clean and maintain grounds.

In addition, Brown was fined $2,500 in restitution, a $2,500 probation fine a $30 court security fee, a $30 criminal conviction fee, and a $400 domestic violence fee.
