Wolverine Sökkar og er í miklum endurtökum ?

It looks like 20th Century Fox isn’t going to wait for their Watchmen money to come through before they try to resurrect their sad state of studio affairs. The studio had far from a banner year in 2008, with the only bright spot being…sigh…Marley & Me. Fox has gone to the dogs, and following omnipresent rumors that X-Men Origins: Wolverine a) blows and b) was micromanaged by Fox under director Gavin Hood’s nose seem to have finally lead to some action as the film reopens its production doors in Vancouver… Collider broke the story: Sources have informed us that Fox is conducting extensive re-shoots for “X-Men Origins: Wolverine”, some or all of those re-shoots in Vancouver. And by “extensive” we’re not talking about a few days of pick-ups. More curious was the studio considered bringing in a few journalists to cover these re-shoots. Now usually re-shoots such as this are done quietly. Studios don’t want you to know they done fucked up and can’t get their shit together in the editing room. Let’s hope that Fox realizes that a Wolverine movie done wrong will be the last nail in the already half-buried X-Men franchise coffin. X3: The Last Stand was an over-produced, under-written piece of crap that was just as much the studio’s fault as Bret Ratner (The Rat, though horrible, did enter the project with only half a story, a cast and a release date). If Wolverine fails, the only positive thing to come out of the entire X-Men franchise would be Hugh Jackman’s huge American career.

"It's Hugh Jackman, sending this note from freezing Vancouver. I have read a lot of your online comments regarding the footage that we are currently shooting and I share your passion for the Wolverine character and the movie - I owe it all to you guys!

I wanted to reach out and let you know that due to scheduling conflicts with certain cast members and location/weather considerations, we had to wait until now to shoot a couple of scenes. Please rest assured that WOLVERINE will be badass and hopefully meet all of your expectations. I am stoked by the positive response to the teaser, which clearly reflects the tone and scope of the film. If you like that, we've got much more in store!

The reader that informed us of this also pointed us to an interview between SuperheroHype and producer Lauren Shuler Donner, in which Donner mentions that there will be some addition shoots in January. The interview was from October, so clearly Jackman is telling the truth when he says that the shoots were planned.
