Charles Barkley had a very interesting explanation for why he was driving around the streets of surburban Phoenix intoxicated early Wednesday.

Barkley was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. An officer with a law enforcement task force that targets drunk driving saw the former NBA star run a stop sign in Scottsdale around 1:30 a.m.

The NBA Hall of Famer told cops he ran a stop sign because he was in a hurry to pick up a girl who had “given him a ‘blow job’ one week earlier.”

“You want the truth? I was gonna drive around the corner and get a blow job,” the once aspiring politican replied when officers quizzed him on why he was driving under the influence.

After all, it was “the best one he had ever had in his life.”
