The actor who plays Teri Hatcher's boyfriend on the ABC series Desperate Housewives was involved in a motorcycle accident yesterday that left him seriously injured. Gale Harold is listed as being in "critical condition" according to a spokesperson for the USC Medical Center where the actor is being treated.

Creator of the series Marc Cherry revealed that Harold is experiencing swelling of the brain, but Harold's rep told TMZ, "Everyone is hopeful for a full recovery," saying that Gale was actually in "stable condition."
