No one is quite sure who started Twittering as The Joker yesterday. Twitter, of course, being hte micro-blogging craze sweeping the nation, where broadcasts (tweets) of 140 characters or less are sent out into the online ether.

The Joker seems to be accessing the internet from Arkham and participating in the Twitter community by responding to other people’s tweets, but it’s unsure if this is an official viral extension, or something else entirely.

The icon for the account is Heath’s Joker, while the wallpaper takes the oh-so-familiar HA HA HA script and adds in a…HO? [All things are better with hos.]

The above Tweet has been causing a stir, because it sounds like a vague reference to the upcoming Cartoon Network show Batman: The Brave and The Bold and others go as far as to suggest that we will be getting a Dark Knight DVD and Blu-Ray far before the anticipated December release date.
