Michael Jacksons tour is fastest selling ever

Michael Jacksons 50 tour date at the 02 Arena in London has completly sold out.

360,000 tickets had been sold to registered fans before the tickets were available to the public this morning. This tour has become the fastest selling in history.

Promoter Randy Phillips told the BBC:

"That wasn't anticipated. We never thought '50 shows', and frankly, based on the queues on Ticketmaster plus the 300,000 registrants we still haven't issued codes to, we could spend two years here. Mike asked me how long he would be in the United Kingdom for and I told him, probably long enough to get a British passport. Michael's already pretty much put together a list of the dancers he wants. Michael's very engaged now."

Today Amy Winehouse has been charged with assault. Amy went to a police station yesterday morning where she was questioned and charged for the offence.

Amy hit a female fan back in September when she tried to photograph her at a charity event.

Amy is due to attend court on March 17th.

Lindsay Lohan has waged war against Katie Holmes after the Mad Money star was selected for the coveted April 2009 cover of Glamour.

Lindsay mistakenly believed she, and not Mrs. Cruise, would grace the 70th anniversary cover of the style mag. When photos for the April 2009 issue were released last week, La Lohan was livid to discover that Katie had taken “her place” as covergirl. Now Lindsay angry at her fellow actress, celebrity informants report.

MSNBC reports:

“(Lohan) did this big Madonna-themed photo shoot and she was totally under the impression it would be the cover. Her Marilyn Monroe shoot for New York Magazine seemed to make her relevant when she did it, she thought the same would happen this time. Only she wasn’t on the cover, Katie was, and she’s mad at her now.”

Another insider says that a Lohan cover was never part of the plan.

“If that was Lindsay’s impression, it was a mistake. She was always going to be inside the magazine.”
