Hún vildi fá sem besta yfirsýn yfir skikann sinn, svo hún klifraði upp í tréð. Þegar hún nálgaðist toppinn kom fálki og réðist á hana.  Í óðagátinu við að sleppa frá þessum sjálfstæða fugli, þá rann hún stjórnlaust niður trjástofninn og fékk ómælt magn af flísum í klofið á leiðinni.

Þrútin af sársauka hraðaði hún sér á heilsugæsluna og komst strax að hjá lækni. Hún sagði honum sólarsöguna, hvernig hún sem umhverfissinni hafi viljað njóta útsýnisins yfir óspillta náttúruna og hvernig flísarnar úr stóra, gamla trénu hefðu komið til eftir árás fálkans. Eftir að hafa hlustað, bað læknirinn hana að bíða meðan hann myndi athuga hvað hann gæti gert fyrir hana. Hún beið í nærri 4 klukkutíma áður en læknirinn kom aftur. Reið og kvalin hvæsti hún á hann hví hann hafi verið svo lengi.

Læknirinn brosti og sagði: “Sko, ég þurfti að fá leyfi hjá Umhverfisstofnun, Náttúruvernd, Skógrækt Ríkisins, Landbúnaðarráðuneytinu og Skipulagsstofnun til þess að fjarlægja gamlan trjágróður af frístunda- og skemmtisvæði. Mér var því miður hafnað.”
