Burt Reynolds has entered rehab.

According to The Insider  the 73-year-old acting legend is seeking treatment for an addiction to drugs and alcohol. The news comes after The National Enquirer published a photo of the iconic star on the grounds of the Hanley Center, a rehab facility in West Palm Beach. The tabloid claims the ladies’ man was found semi-conscious in a pool of blood by an employee at his Florida home and later admitted to a local mental psychiatric hospital.

“After a recent back surgery, Mr. Reynolds felt like he was going through hell and after a while, realized he was a prisoner of prescription pain pills,” the star’s rep said in a statement Wednesday afternoon. “He checked himself into rehab in order to regain control of his life.”
