After downing a bottle of Hennessy cognac and storming the stage at last weekend’s MTV Video Music Awards, Star Magazine claims hip-hop juggernaut Kanye West has hired a counselor and is considering checking into rehab for alcohol addiction once his Fame Kills Tour, featuring pop sensation Lady Gaga, wraps up in January.

 Actor Randy Quaid and his wife Evi were arrested in western Texas this afternoon after allegedly skipping out on a $10,000 hotel bill in California, Presidio County Sheriff’s officials said.

Quaid, 58, and his wife are wanted in Santa Barbara County on charges of burglary, defrauding an innkeeper, and conspiracy. The Houston native and his spouse were arrested in the rural town of Marfa and are currently in custody awaiting arraignment.

The warrant sets the couple’s bail at $20,000 each.

Randy Quaid — the brother of actor Dennis Quaid — is best known for his role as a Saturday Night Live castmember and appearances in films like National Lampoon’s Vacation, Kingpin and Brokeback Mountain.

 

Actor Randy Quaid and his wife Evi had their mugshots taken after their arrest in rural Texas Thursday for allegedly not paying a $10,000 hotel bill in California. The pair are wanted in Santa Barbara for burglary and host of other charges. Evi Quaid penned a two-page letter on behalf of herself and her husband, defending the couple’s innocence.
