Naglarnir. 

Jón Fr. Einarsson, byggingaverktaki og sóknarnefndarformaður í Bolungarvík,

hafði einu sinni sem oftar útsölu

 

í byggingarvöruverslun sinni. Þurfti hann ekki síst að losna við miklar birgðir af

nöglum sem hann lá með.

 

Fékk Jón auglýsingateiknara til þess að hanna fyrir sig auglýsingu af þessu tilefni. Auglýsingin kom til Jóns

 

og hafði teiknarinn teiknað Jesúm nelgdan á krossinn og undir stóð:,, Þeir halda, naglarnir frá Jóni Friðgeir!”

 

Jóni fannst alveg ótækt að hafa auglýsinguna svona, ekki síst í ljósi þess að hann var formaður sóknarnefndar.

 

Hann heimtaði því að ný auglýsing yrði gerð. Skömmu síðar sendi teiknarinn aðra tillögu. Þar var kross,

 Jesú lá á jörðinni fyrir framan krossinn og undir stóð: ,, Þeim hefði verið nær að kaupa naglana hjá Jóni Friðgeir!”

The police showed up at Britney Spears' house AGAIN on Wednesday night. Helicopters, dozens and dozens of paparazzi. Almost 100. Britney's mom. Alli. They all were there.

The scene was chaos.

Rumors were swirling that troubled mother of two attempted suicide. Thankfully, she is said to be without harm and nothing serious happened. The attempted suicide reports are false.

We just don't know what to say anymore.

It's so painfully obvious that she needs some SUBSTANTIAL help.

We hope she gets it - soon.

You know, on the bright side of things: if Britney DID attempt to harm herself or threaten to, then her family CAN have her committed and get the psychiatric treatment that will save her life.

 

An ambulance left Britney Spears' house around 1:20 A.M this morning. The windows were covered and a police convoy of what seems like DOZENS of cops lead the way.

Britney was in the ambulance and she arrived at UCLA Medical Center around 1:35 A.M.

Following the ambulance were none other than Lynne Spears and Adnan Ghalib - in the same car.

Britney is going to be put under a 5150 psychiatric hold at the hospital for 72 hours. Hopefully her treatment will be extended.

Spears has been under the treatment of a psychiatrist, who was at her home Wednesday night and placed a call to the authorities, which triggered Brit's hospitalization.

Britney had not slept in days and her shrink was concerned for her deteriorating condition.

This is all just so tragic.

Our thoughts are with Britney and her family.

Hopefully the stars will align and she will finally get better now, once and for all.

It was the first day of a school in USA and a new Indian student named

Chandrasekhar Subramanian entered the fourth grade.

The teacher said, "Let's begin by reviewing some American History.

Who said "Give me Liberty, or give me Death"?

She saw a sea of blank faces, except for Chandrasekhar, who had his
hand up:

"Patrick Henry, 1775" he said.

"Very good!"

Who said "Government of the People, by the People, for the People,
shall not perish from the Earth?"

Again, no response except from Chandrasekhar.

"Abraham Lincoln, 1863" said Chandrasekhar.

The teacher snapped at the class, "Class, you should be ashamed.

Chandrasekhar, who is new to our country, knows more about its
history than you do."

She heard a loud whisper: "Fuck the Indians,"

"Who said that?" she demanded. Chandrasekhar put his hand up.

"General Custer, 1862."

At that point, a student in the back said, "I'm gonna puke."

The teacher glares around and asks "All right! Now, who said that?"

Again, Chandrasekhar says, "George Bush to the Japanese Prime Minister,
1991."

Now furious, another student yells, "Oh yeah? Suck this!"

Chandrasekhar jumps out of his chair waving his hand and shouts to the
teacher , "Bill Clinton, to Monica Lewinsky, 1997!"

Now with almost mob hysteria someone said "You little shit. If you say
anything else, I'll kill you."

Chandrasekhar frantically yells at the top of his voice, " Michael
Jackson to the child witnesses testifying against him- 2004."

The teacher fainted. And as the class gathered around the teacher on
the floor, someone said, "Oh shit, we're fucked!"

And Chandrasekhar said quietly,

I think it was George Bush, Iraq, 2007."
